CVS Digital Privacy Settlement: Claim Up to $10 or Up to $5

If you used CVS.com, CVSHealth.com, or the CVS app before July 27, 2026, you may be eligible to receive a payment from the CVS Digital Privacy Settlement. Eligible class members can submit a claim for up to $10 with documentation or choose an alternative payment of up to $5 without documentation.

The settlement stems from a class action lawsuit involving allegations concerning information associated with users of CVS digital properties being disclosed to Criteo and other technology providers or third parties through technology used on CVS digital properties. CVS Pharmacy, Inc. and Criteo Corp. deny the allegations and have agreed to the settlement without admitting wrongdoing. The settlement is still subject to final court approval.

What are the two payment options?

  • Cash Payment A, up to $10: Eligible class members can provide documentation showing they accessed a CVS digital property in the United States before July 27, 2026. Examples of documentation listed by the settlement include browser search history, screenshots showing dates, or email receipts from online CVS purchases.
  • Cash Payment B, up to $5: If you qualify but cannot provide documentation for the higher payment option, you can choose the alternative cash option of up to $5.

The amounts are maximum potential payments rather than guaranteed amounts. Depending on the number of valid claims submitted and other deductions from the settlement fund, the actual payment could be lower.

The settlement provides for a maximum cash payment fund of $20.5 million. Before payments are distributed to class members, the fund will also cover court approved attorneys' fees and costs, settlement administration expenses, and service awards approved by the Court.

How do you file a claim?

If you received a settlement notice by email, you can use the Login ID and PIN included in that notice to access the online claim form. If you did not receive a notice or cannot locate your login information, the settlement website also provides an option to submit a claim without logging in.

There is an important household limitation to keep in mind. Under the settlement terms, only one claim per household can be filed. A household is defined as people residing at the same mailing address, so check with other members of your household before submitting a claim.

The deadline to submit a claim is November 16, 2026. Claims can be submitted online or by mail according to the instructions provided by the settlement administrator.

Daybreaks Deals tip: Before filing, look through your email for old CVS online order confirmations or receipts. You may also want to check your browser history or other dated records that could help document your CVS digital access before the July 27, 2026 cutoff. If you cannot find documentation, the settlement still provides the alternative option of up to $5 for qualifying class members.
